Queste sono le seducenti protagoniste del mondo dei casinò, dove uomini di bell'aspetto giocano ai tavoli verdi e loro li guardano compiaciute, dando bella mostra della loro sfacciata bellezza.

Glitz, lights, colours, and sound ... the clinking of glasses of champagne, gorgeous women that are skimpy and sexy dresses, very sexy. These are the protagonists of the seductive world of casinos, with men playing at the tables and look at them, giving a fine show welcomed their brazen beauty.

Parliamo di pellicce.

Odio l'idea che vengano ancora uccisi ingiustamente animali innocenti per mettersi addosso una pelliccia. Non siamo più nell'era della pietra dove non c'era altro che quello per coprirsi. Il mercato tessile oggi offre pellicce ecologice così simili a quelle vere che ormai non si nota quasi più la differenza. Io non indosserò mai una pelliccia vera.

I hate the idea that they are still killed unjustly innocent animals to put on a fur. We are no longer in the era of stone where there was none other than the one for cover. The textile market now offers ecologice fur similar to true so that now do not notice the difference anymore. I'm not going to wear real fur never.

Fantasy !

La mia passione per il mondo Fantasy è grande! E soprattutto per quanto riguarda il mondo delle Fate. Su di loro ho parecchi libri illustrati, che conservo gelosamente. Mi piacciono tantissimo le atmosfere un pò misteriose e cupe, un pò tipo il film "Labirint" per intenderci, e adoro le illustrazioni! Questa l'ho "rubata" al libro che in assoluto preferisco, "Fate" di Brian Froud, il migliore secondo il mio modesto parere!!! L'ho disegnata con acquarelli e pastelli! E voi credete alle fate?

My passion for Fantasy World is great! And especially with regard to the world of the fairies. On them I have several books, which I keep jealously. I like a lot the atmosphere a bit mysterious and dark, a bit like the movie "Labyrinth" so to speak, and I love the illustrations! This I have "stolen" the book that ever I prefer, "Fairies" by Brian Froud, the best in my humble opinion! I painted with watercolors and crayons! And you believe in fairies?

Illustrazioni retrò - Retro illustration

Anni fà feci delle illustrazioni chic retrò per lo studio di moda per cui lavoravo. Erano davvero belle, esprimevano l'eleganza di uomini degli anni '40, avvolti da abiti doppiopetto gessati, cappelli e guanti di pelle. Furono esposti alla famosa fiera di Pitti Uomo a Firenze, dove riscossero  molto successo. Realizzati su carta cotone con acquarelli e pastelli, li conservo gelosamente tra i miei disegni più cari! 

Years ago I did chic retro illustrations to study fashion for which I worked. They were really beautiful, expressing elegance of 1940s double-breasted suits, enveloped in chalky, hats and leather gloves. Were exposed to the famous fair of Pitti Uomo in Florence, where experienced much success. Cotton made with watercolours on paper and crayons, I keep jealously between my dearest designs!

Ma dov'è la bellezza? Where is the beauty?

Tredici anni di lavoro nel mondo della moda mi hanno permesso di vivere sulla mia pelle tutti i cambiamenti che ha subito, nel bene e nel male, la donna ed il suo stile. Quando mi sono affacciata nel mondo del lavoro la visione che gli stilisti avevano del corpo femminile era tutt'altra: tutti voi ricorderete la bellissima Claudia Shiffer, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista ... erano donne bellissime, con le curve al punto giusto, e i vestiti addosso a loro erano semplicemente favolosi, proprio perchè si permeavano di quei corpi armoniosi e femminili. Quelle erano delle vere super model. Erano gli anni del boom economico e tutto appariva rigoglioso, opulento, bello e affascinante. Col passare degli anni purtroppo le cose sono andate via via degenerando...mettete a confronto una sfilata degli anni 80/90 con una sfilata di oggi...notate la differenza? Guardate le ragazze che camminano sulla passerella...sono semplicemente degli spettri che indossano vestiti che non vengono riempiti da nulla, se non da ossa. Ho assistito ultimamente a casting dove vedevo ragazzine al limite dell'anoressia, così magre che mi facevano pena! Che messaggio potevano mai dare? Non riesco a comprendere perchè, nonostante la campagna enorme che si è fatta contro l'anoressia nelle passerelle, il fashion sistem non abbia totalmente cambiato registro! Io sono una stilista e sono la prima a dire che non mi piacerebbe mai vedere una mia creazione sul corpo androgino e scheletrico di una modella...il vestito deve cadere perfettamente su un corpo, ma deve anche essere riempito nei suoi spazi. Le curve delle donne rendono sexy un abito e un abito deve rendere sexy una donna!

Thirteen years of work in the fashion world allowed me to live on my skin all the changes it has undergone, for better or for worse, the woman and her style. When I am facing in the world of work, the vision that the designers had the female body was completely different: you all remember the beautiful Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista ... were beautiful women with curves to the right spot, and the clothes they were simply fabulousjust because it's permeated by those bodies harmonious and feminine. Those were the real super model. These were the years of economic boom and everything seemed lush, opulent, beautiful and fascinating. Over the years, unfortunately things went progressively degenerating ... put in comparison with a parade of the 80/90 with a parade of today ... notice the difference? View the girls walking on the catwalk ... are simply Hakusho who wear clothes that are not filled by anything, if not by bones. I have witnessed lately to see young girls casting where the limit of anorexia, so thin that I did it! That message could ever give? I cannot understand why, despite the huge campaign that has made against anorexia in the catwalks, fashion sistem has not totally changed registry! I am a designer and are the first to say that I'd ever see a my creation on the body of an androgynous and skeletal shapes ... the dress must fall perfectly on a body, but must also be filled in the spaces. Curves for women make it sexier in a dress and a sexy dress must make a woman!

Il Texas, il deserto, strade infinite che si perdono nella natura selvaggia ed arida. E lei, una donna che si ispira ai colori caldi di questa atmosfera, ad un abbigliamento che mixa lo chic al selvaggio.

Un viaggio nel passato! - A journey into the past!

Ieri pomeriggio,  ho preso la grande scatola di latta dove i miei genitori conservano gelosamente vecchissimi ricordi della loro famiglia...foto in bianco e nero, ingiallite dagli anni, che ritraggono bisnonni e nonni, fermi immagine dagli anni '30 in avanti, e mi sono tuffata in un mondo retrò dove le donne, seppur nella loro semplicità, indossavano abiti bellissimi, fatti rigorosamente a mano. E gli uomini erano eleganti ed affascinanti. Mi piace condividere con voi questo pezzo di storia della moda, fatta di sete leggere, acconciature elaborate e sguardi sinceri. Buon viaggio nel passato!

Yesterday afternoon, I took the big tin box where my parents still jealously old memories of their family ... black and white photos, yellowed by age, portraying great-grandparents and grandparents, stills from the 1930s onwards, and I dipped into a world where women retrobut in their simplicity, they wore dresses, made exclusively by hand. Un ragalo speciale! - Special present!

Lo sapete che una delle mie passioni è dipingere! Ho fatto parecchi quadri su commissione, e vi ricordo che se volete abbellire la vostra casa con un'opera unica io sono disponibile a realizzarla! Questo è l'ultimo che ho dipinto. E' un regalo speciale che mi ha commissionato un mio grande amico, per una ragazza a cui tiene molto. Laura, questo è il suo nome, compie gli anni, e dato che ha dimostrato di apprezzare molto i miei quadri, il mio amico ha deciso di farle una sorpresa e di regalargliene uno che le ricordasse uno dei suoi viaggi più belli : la Terra Santa.Qui è ritratta con sua sorella, e dietro alle loro spalle c'è Gerusalemme, con la cupola d'oro e nera. La croce che ho fatto sulla cupola d'oro non è un errore, ma è voluta. L'ho fatta perchè volevo dare un significato che oggi purtroppo si è perso: tutte le religioni sono unite, la preghiera non ha limiti, tutti siamo uguali!

Did you know that one of my passions is painting! I did several paintings on Commission, and I remind you that if you want to beautify your home with an artwork only I am available to achieve it! This is the last that I painted. It's a special gift that I commissioned my great friend, a girl that holds a lot. Laura, this is his name, birthday, and since has proven to appreciate my paintings, my friend decided to make a surprise and regalargliene one that reminded one of his many journeys : the Holy land here is portrayed with his sister, and behind their backs there is Jerusalem, with black and golden dome. The cross that I made on golden dome is not an error, but is desired. I made it because I wanted to give a meaning that today unfortunately it was lost: all religions are merged, the prayer has no limits, we are all equal!

Military Chic - My Proposal

Lo stile militare è un trend che quasi ogni anno si ripropone in chiave diversa. Che sia "hard", "chic" o "aviation", compare sempre in bella mostra su riviste del settore come  "Collezioni", e poi di rimando nei servizi footografici di varie riviste di moda. Il colore predominante è sempre il khaki, la tonalità militare per eccellenza, declinato in varie sfumature e miscelato ai beige, i cammello o i grigi caldi. Quello che io, per il mio gusto, preferisco, è quello chic: non troppo sportivo, pezzi di carattere mixati a dettagli eleganti. In queste foto prese da Marie Claire è evidente che la Military Woman è dura ma sexy nello stesso tempo!

Qual è il vostro colore preferito?

Il mio è il bianco! Lo è sempre stato, anche se il controsenso è che il mio guardaroba invernale è costituito per la maggior parte da capi neri…

Ognuno di noi ama un colore che rispecchia il proprio animo. Durante il miei studi universitari ho avuto la fortuna di studiare un po’ di cromatologia, una materia davvero interessantissima! Il nostro professore, durante la prima lezione, ci diede un compito divertentissimo: assegnare un colore alle persone che ci circondavano. Provateci! All’inizio vi sembrerà un po’ “stupido” ma alla fine vi renderete conto che la personalità di chi conoscete vi influenzerà molto nella scelta del colore da assegnare. Chi ama i colori pastello ha una personalità romantica e sensibile, chi ama i colori cupi è introspettiva e forte, chi ama il bianco è pura e genuina e chi ama il nero è essenziale, drammatica e profonda. Ed un colore non esclude per forza di cose l’altro. Quando compro una rivista di moda, spero sempre di trovare tra i servizi fotografici, uno scatto in nero o seppia. Lo trovo ancora più interessante e suggestivo. L’aria che mi conquista è quel non so ché ci retrò, chic, elegante e misterioso. Come una vecchia fotografia chiusa da anni in una scatola di latta.

Mine is white! It has always been, even if the contradiction is that my winter wardrobe is mostly by black leaders.

Everyone loves a color that reflects your mood. During my studies I had the good fortune of studying a little color theory, a really interesting! Our Professor, during the first lesson, gave us a fun task: assign a color to the people that surrounded him. Try This! At the beginning you feel a little "stupid" but eventually you'll realize that the personality of those who know will affect much the choice of the color you want to assign. Those who love the pastel colors has sensible and romantic personality, who loves the introspective and gloomy colors is strong, if white is pure and genuine and chi ama il nero is essential, dramatic and profound. And a color not necessarily exclude each other. When I buy a fashion magazine, I always find between shoots, one shot in black and white or sepia. I find it even more interesting and attractive.
